Fallbrook & Bonsall
Fallbrook a small, unincorporated community in North San Diego County, about 18 miles inland from the coast, is comprised of about 30,000 people. A secluded town of avocado groves and home to many celebrities, Fallbrook claims to be the “Avocado Capitol of the World” and actually holds an annual Avocado Festival. Hosting a weekly Friday Farmers Market in the Village Square, Fallbrook exudes a friendly, village atmosphere that is a delight to visitors and locals. In fact, it is dubbed the Friendly Village. An annual Christmas Parade brings all residents from their homes to gather together in small hometown to fun. Arts and crafts, agriculture and education are all defining forces in this small town.
Ocean breezes and low humidity create a year-round climate that is moderate, averaging 61 degrees, with summer highs occasionally reaching 90 degrees. Walking trails, rolling hills, and equestrian life bring those who love the outdoors to Fallbrook and the neighboring Bonsall, a smaller community of about 3,500 people, located near the San Luis Reyes Downs Golf Course.
